• Compania Minera Antamina S.A. internal clients may request technical information from suppliers or clarification of quotations or budgets, with the knowledge of the Purchases and Contracts area, but are not authorized to negotiate commercial terms such as prices, way of payments, etc., or to make any commercial agreements.

• The Purchases and Contracts area constantly analyzes the market of goods and services to seek for potential sustainable suppliers within the time our company requires.

• The Purchases and Contracts area promotes the participation of suppliers and contractors from our area of influence, seeking to create joint business opportunities.

• The Purchases and Contracts area annually makes a program to visit potential suppliers and Strategic Partners.

• The Purchases and Contracts area organizes workshops with suppliers and contractors in order to make known our policies, requirements, and ways of working and also to give new suppliers the opportunity to develop.

• Information obtained from suppliers and contractors, such as quotations, information, reports, etc., is considered private and confidential by personnel in the Purchases and Contracts area.
