Observing these policies, Antamina will:

	minimize the risks for the environment, health and safety, ensuring the fulfillment of government, World Bank and company requirements;
	implement policies, programs and administrative practices on the environment, health, hygiene and safety, as well as regarding emergency response;
	train and educate all employees according to their responsibilities, so that they have the skills and the necessary facilities to maintain a healthy, accident-free work place;
	require that contractors follow practices that are compatible with the company’s environmental, health and safety policies and procedures;
	maintain a monitoring program to ensure the constant fulfillment of the policies and government laws and regulations;
	communicate in an open and opportune manner with all employees, the government, communities, the public and other interested parties regarding activities that involve the environment, health and safety;
	periodically inform Antamina’s Advisory Committee (Antamina’s Senior Management) about environment, health and safety conditions and the state of emergency preparedness.
