The Truck Shop is the maintenance and repair workshop for
heavy and light equipment on the mine and is also used for
parts storage.
It includes one workshop for heavy equipment, one for light
equipment, a welding workshop and a tire workshop.
On the Truck Shop, the following services are offered:

Preventive or Programmed Maintenance
(PM).
Composed of: cleaning, fluid and filter replacement, all
correct function tests and programmed maintenance. |

Status Monitoring (PdM), composed
from oils analysis, structures inspection, operation variables
monitoring (VIM's) and components wearing-out programme. |
| 3. |
Corrective or non-programmed maintenance,
carried out whenever necessary for the equipment or machine. |

Within the Yanacancha camp, workers can access all services
that are provided and administered by the Camp Superintendent.
Some 1,500 or 1,600 people are on the premises on a daily
basis, without taking into consideration those who are on
their days off.
There are modules for workers and for those under contract.
With a capacity for more than 5,000 people, the camp offers
complementary services such as:
Food Services: Thanks to support from the
Sodexho company, Antamina provides first class food services
(breakfast, lunch and dinner) in its common dining rooms.
Medical attention: A modern polyclinic provides
all workers with medical attention. The medical personnel
belong to the San Pablo clinic and treat both the workers
and the neighboring communities.
Camp maintenance service: Maintenance and
cleaning services are provided for offices, houses, casinos,
sports complexes, etc.
Sports complex and casino: There are different
games such as pool, squash and two courts that can be used
for soccer, basketball, volleyball and tennis. There is also
a fully outfitted gym with instructors and 18 telephone booths.
