Antamina places great importance on the training and the care of its most valuable capital: its workers. The company currently has 1,450 direct employees and 5,500 indirect employees who work in the different operating areas.

The objective of the human resources management team is to support the creation of a motivated, hig-performing labor force that is proud to belong to a leading national and international company.

The majority of Antamina employees are Peruvians from all corners of the country, in particular the Ancash region itself. An increasing number of Peruvians are occupying supervisory and leadership positions in the operation.
